Abby at the Bee April 2010

Hi... wow has it been a long time since we have posted! Here is the most recent news from our house. Abby just competed at state level along with 102 other children from MN! We are so proud of her! This picture is of Abby and Isaac( a very nice young man from the Rochester area) The two of them had fun conversing before the bee. Isaac made it to the top ten kids who get to be in the final round competition to see who goes to D.C. Unfortunately, he was not the winner but it was still cool to have someone up there that you kinda knew and could root for.
It's now me, Abby, speaking. I'll change font so that you know it's me. The bee was really cool yesterday like Mom said. Isaac was nice to me(a nice 8th grader...that's really rare.) and kinda helped me get on my feet before competing. We've exchanged emails so after this I need to go write back.
The pictures are kind of in the wrong order. They went from last to first on here. So if you want to see it chronologically you need to scroll to the end and go up. But then you can't exactly read this, can you?

Thanks to everyone who gave me such pretty flowers! I love them! Awards for: best smell:Tiff and Karen, most colors: The Kleinschmidts, most elegant: Grandma Carol, and the ones that came first: Uncle Mark and Auntie Judy. Also thanks for all the well wishes and phone calls and face book comments. I should probably go back to telling you what is in these pictures!
Ok, so Mom talked about the pic of me and Isaac, there's the flower picture(up on top, sorry this is out of order but, well, this darn computer is difficult to figure out!!) Ok, another one should appear up top here sometime...(I'm talking to myself...waiting for it to load...)Alrighty, there it is. Me getting a certificate from the judge right before the beginning of Preliminarys. There was only one other girl in my room and no girls in the top 10 which shows that this is a "boy" subject. Then there is the big group picture after it was all said and done, and me and Issy being goofballs in the car at about 7:30 AM! Yup. That's the pictures. Now Mom is telling me to go. So I am going to publish this entry first. Bye and more hopefully later.

The pics of Issy are the best I could get...she was so dang cute! I cant wait to show family the video of the show...such a proud Mom I was (am)! Please notice the boy on the chair in the backround of the girls... he doesnt mind a bit that there was NO attention on him...such a good kid!

A Fresh Start

Hi... this is extrememly frustrating... if I ever figure this out with out taking a hammer to this computer it will be a miracle. Have a good laugh when you see how messed up this is! I am going to BED! Lisa

Halloween!

A fall visit from Auntie Karen!

Well, Here I am 9:09 pm in February wondering where the time has gone? The kids are about six months older than the last time I wrote on here...life is just as crazy and I have nothing of huge signifigance to share! I suppose that is a good thing. There have been several life changing activities however so I will give it my best shot to share some highlights to bring you (and me) up to date. Sad to say, but the truth ... the last trip was the one posted on the pics last time...which was to Auntie Ninis in Duluth in the fall. From then on we were thrown into a busy schedule of school and activities. Abby ran cross country in the fall (see pic). Eli played a little soccer (no pic:(). Issy started skating lessons and turned 3 years old (see pics). Eli spent a few fall evenings with his dad on the deer stand and Brian was able to harvest a few deer for us as well. All in all life has been good. The holidays came and went with programs and all ... the biggest glitch for us was a round of the flu which dampenend the holiday joy and brought me into a motherly frenzy about how to pull it together. Some how things all work out and we had a nice Christmas on both sides of the fam. I am going to now attempt to share some pics... hopefully this note will help to decifer them! Enjoy! Check back soon as the girls have a skating show coming up the end of this month!

Hi Again. It is just me and Eli ,Issy, and Mom. Dad is at work hauling milk. Poor Dad. With all this snow we've been getting it is snow removal either 10:00 PM-8:00 AM, or 3:00 AM-11:00 AM. His other job(hauling milk) is about 1:00 AM- whenever. He is hauling milk right now. Yesterday though he took Eli with him. Then Mom,Issy and myself had girl time (VERY RARE!)

Sorry it's been awhile since we've been on here. Gosh, alot has happened since then. Issy turned three(of course with cake!!). We had Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Segler. Christmas at the wooden house. That was fun! Shannon came back to the States, and brought her cute dog Zoe along!!!! Addy and Kade came and celebrated too. Justin came with Heather, that was so cool. They haven't been here for years! Lots of cousins came. As I said it was fun! Sorry but I have no idea how to get pics on here.

Ok, You must have guessed by now... It's not Lisa. It's Abby, the big sister. I have no idea how to do this blog. It's mom's thing. I decided to take a whack at it. This is it! Of course it's summarized. You would be here forever if I put it all in. And I don't want to take your good time to go do something else. Have fun!
